Graffiti in ancient Pompeii, Italy

Graffiti, which seems to be typical of our times, can be found even in ancient cities, like Pompeii. Here are three great (and sweet, I think) examples of graffiti, probably made by Pompeian children (otherwise it must have been a very unskilled so-called artist;-)

The first, I believe, was supposed to represent a boat of some sort.

The next one shows a fearsome (and quite fearless I'm sure) gladiator.

And the third is a prancing horsey.

Aren't they cute?

Incredible!!!

Pompeii is an amazing historical landmark. Its been year since I visited there, but the impression is still alive. The restored ruins are amusing for their story frozen in the bricks and the casts of bodies, which recall the loss of the port city back to life. I think everyone should go and experience this incredible city.
